Fat Controller
There are some photos of the terminal at Scotswood Road, Newcastle, in one of the Paul Shannon/Michael Rhodes 'Freight Only' books. One of the last Model Railway Constructors had a feature on bitumen traffic, with details on how to modify the wagons.
JohnH
There's a couple of pictures of the Skipton Bitumen Depot in 'Railfreight - Today' by Anthony & Rogers. One shows the flame tubes on a wagon being lit and the other a distant view of the sidings. There's also some footage of Skipton on one of the 'Railfreight Today' DVDS
Rivercider
Rail Centres 'Exeter' No.5 by Colin Maggs (Ian Allan) has a couple of pictures of the bitumen terminal at City Basin, Exeter. Otherwise pictures seem to be quite rare, I have only a couple of shots of traffic at St. Davids en-route to or from City Basin. cheers
Pugsley
There's some photos of wagons at Bromford Bridge terminal, which may give you a bit of an idea about the equipment used at the larger terminals, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tutenkhamunsleeping/sets/72157626404213718/with/5600266578/ HTH

37114
I have a book on class 37's by Howard Johnston in the Rail 5 portfolio series, which shows the terminal at Cranmore which is eminently modelable, seemingly to be a mobile gantry pumped directly into the waiting Wincanton Tanker. Glorious NSE
If it's Bromford Bridge you're seriously looking at, then have a look at the overheads on Google and Bing Maps, the Bing in particular is pretty good.
