It's that time again!

Middleton Railway, Moor Road, Hunslet, LEEDS, West Yorkshire, LS10 2JQ

Organised by, and all proceeds to, the Middleton Railway Trust

Open 10:00 to 17:00 each day (trains operating every 40 minutes 11:00 to 16:20), light refreshments available in the shop/café.

Admire the models set amongst the real thing in our Engine House. As well as travelling on a full size steam train you will have the opportunity to drive a full size steam locomotive in their 200th year of operation at Middleton. We will be operating ‘Driver for a fiver’ on one of our locomotives – when did you last do that at a Model Railway Exhibition?

Admission:

Exhibition/Engine House/Platform only

Adult: £4.00

Child: £2.00

Family: £10.00

Exhibition/Engine House plus unlimited train rides:

Adult: £6.00

Child: £4.00

Family: £18.00

We are expecting up to 14 layouts in a variety of scales:O, OO, N, On30, Hoe and 009. Layouts will include Micro layouts, Leeds Weeklyn Hill shed (an imaginary Leeds shed in the 1950s/1960s), Emmett fantasy, Mini MSW (finescale N gauge Woodhead), Crampton Tyney (7mm Midland Railway), Zerlos (Hoe Austrian) and Sabden Glen (OO Scotland)

Reminding us that model railways are fun too we have vintage Tri-ang OO, Hornby O gauge and Tomy Thomas

Traders will include DC Kits, Keith’s Model Railways, Leeds Transport Historical Society and second hand tables.

This is an event for all the family – not just the modeller. When the non-modellers have exhausted the facilities we offer at Moor Road the Tulip Retail Park is opposite and the White Rose Centre is just a short ride away. We pride ourselves on a welcome for all – come and experience it for yourselves…

Shameless plug time - we will be running a model of sentinel 54 that is to be fitted with a Howes sound chip especially for the weekend. The loco will only be moved when people donate money - all money raised will be donated to the restoration fund for the real no;54.

Just thought I would bump this topic to remind people of the show. Looks to be an good un - I visited last year as a punter and will be the "other side of the fence" this year. If you do come along please say hello to me on Leeds Weeklyn Hill.
