s182ggu
Hi I would like to find 00 gauge models of the 2x Lambton tanks on the NYMR - no. 5 and no. 29 Does anyone know of the existence of models of these two prototypes, either in kit form or built? I look forward to hearing back from anyone with any knowledge of these. Thanks in advance.
Madcaravanner
There is another topic about these loco's also looking for OO gauge here Hope either of you find your answer but it looks more to me like a scratch build project
Horsetan
Chilton Iron Works produced the Lambton tanks in 4mm scale - but those kits are long out of production. There was one on eBay in the past week. Fifty quid the last time I looked at it.

Horsetan - I was aware of the Chilton Iron Works example on ebay and I just missed it (b-------cks) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221017533265?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648 If you become aware of any others, I'd appreciate a nod!! simon hudson
One of my projects is Lambton No 52 one of the Taff Vale 0-6-2t's aka No 85 very similar to the Kitsons.I'm using the Wills Taff Vale U1 as a base and if sucsseful I'll do No 31 one of the Kitsons

There seems to be a good reason for the CIW kits to be resurrected, but my understanding is that the owner of the range is not interested in doing this, or selling the range to someone who would be. s182ggu
It would be good if they were resurrected, however you can understand the rarity causing prices like these. I only missed it 'cos I didnt hit the enter button quick enough and I was going for a similar price!!
