Fun with Plasticard

Recommended Posts

Having given in to temptation, I sat down with my trusty swann-morton and let loose on a sheet of plasticard to build something relatively simple. Largely made up as I go along but I did carefully make a rough plan before I started...

Thought I'd post a few pics of progress so far...

will look even better once it's painted

hopefully!

I've taken a short break as the combination of mek-pak and poly cement fumes have given me a headache but will do some more after I've finished this cuppa.. :)

rest of the stonework to do tomorrow n then work out what to make the roof out of. Did toy with the idea of doing individual tiles but dunno if I have the patience to cut out and glue several hundred of the things in n gauge! I do have some ratio corrugated sheets but they seem a bit too thick...

Thats my lot for the night. Asides from the fumes...

doesnt do the knees any good whatsoever sat down there!!

havent actually got a proper workbench set up yet as only been in the flat a couple of weeks.

Although that said, while I do most model related things sat at a table, I'm always more comfortable doing card kits while sat on the floor with tv or music in the background.
