porkie
Is it possible to use a dcc decoder to operate my lights on my layout? My lights are all LEDs so no major current being used Cheers Porkie
Nigelcliffe
Yes it should be fine. It may be simpler to use an accessory decoder designed for constant output. At a push you could use cheap locomotive decoders. If wanting to keep the price down, and willing to assemble your own, then either Paul Harman's design (www.dccdiy.org.uk) or a MERG kit 53 is the lowest cost way I know.
