'CHARD
That's awesome! Does anyone else remember anti-traction graffiti? Near Staveley I feel sure it used to say 'CHESTERFIELD ANTI-PED' protesting about a certain genre of A1A-A1A contrivance, on a parapet....

roythebus
There used to be a graffiti on an M1 bridge, somewhere between Luton and toddington with the slogan "Marples must go", a reference to the 1950's transport minister who instigated the motorway network! That was still visible in the late 1970's.
