Torr Giffard LSWR 1951-71
Hi Daz, If the old BR 20084 is still running it may be worth looking at as I seem to remember that it had long range fuel tanks fitted in BR days. Cheers Dave
RMweb Gold big jim Posted November 25, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 25, 2012 the most obvious difference between them in the old livery was the roofs were different colours, brush (301-305) had egg shell blue roofs and rfs (306 upwards) had black roofs, internally the RFS ones have an extra fuel tank nose end which makes them a higher RA i think, certainly when i used to drive them 306 upwards were restricted on the cambrian the end jumper sockets are different heights too, i seem to recall that 301-305 did bot have outer end jumpers when first converted
