Just remembered the attached, ex NE "Y8", 4mm scale, and all "Homebrewed" that is apart from the wheels which are "K's" and likewise the cast saftey valve cover and etched side rods. Darren If you decide to have a go, I still have all the drawings. A Y8 or similar would be ideal for a first attempt at scratchbuilding. I used the High Level Humpshunter 108:1 geabox in my Kays Y8. It gives good slow running, down to less than 1mph scale speed.
