RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted December 24, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 24, 2012 Been doing this annual trip with the family for nearly 20 years now.Plenty of variation on steam locos used. The SVR have got this down to a tee and its always fully booked. Heres a few of yesterdays locos in action including a Southern 'Sir Keith Park' Battle of Britain class just to show I'm not biased. Now it must be Christmas. The last one is a photo taken of some idiot hanging out the coach window. Happy Christmas.
Anglian
Thanks for posting. Seeing the box and Bewdley brings happy memories. I was there with my then girlfriend and the signalman seeing her looking a bit forlorn invited us in. It was a bit wet and windy outside. We spent about an hour in great company and under close instruction were allowed to take a part in operating the box at a relatively busy time of the day. Ed I think you will find it's actually a bit of garden hose who use has been made redundant due to climate change. Nice post by the way gwrrob.
