orcadian
Bad news from Norfolk! Youngsters World, in Dereham will close, 'probably at the end of the month'. Closing down sale, 20% off all stock is now on. Today, quite good stock of Bachmann & Metcalfe, reasonable selection of Hornby, little Farish. Some Oxford N scale vehicles, more of 4mm vehicles. Unlikely to be getting anything else into stock, but the same firm will still be operating in King's Lynn. Kings Lynn branch (back of a tools shop) didn't hold much stock, not nearly as much asDereham, in the past few years, so there will be a big gap across Norfolk until you get to Aylsham (Bure Valley Railway) or Norwich (Great Eastern Models). Starlings (newsagents, stationers and toy shop) hold a very small selection of Hornby at RSP.
ollieollieollie
Shame to hear. Used them a bit when I worked in Wymondham. There was a rumour last year the Kings Lynn shop was going to be expanded but I guess nothing came of it.
Brian Indge
Starlings in Sheringham not only hold a small stock at RSP but most of it has been gathering dust in the display cases for years!!!
