Stevens & Son Signalling Catalogue

Recommended Posts

If anyone has, or knows the location of, a part or whole Stevens & Son railway signalling catelogue (or copy of the same) I would be very grateful if they would drop me a PM.

It relates to Caledonian Signalling specifically.

Neither the NRM or the British Library hold a copy.

I would also love to find a copy for NBR signalling, good luck with your quest

have you tried the national archives of scotland, or the national library of scotland?

tried a quick web search, plenty of mentions of the co., but nothing you require.

might be worth getting in touch with them to see what they hold?

Yes we have of the former; they do not have it.  I don't know about the second and will give the person who is really interested in this a nudge to see if he has been to look.

The best we have dug up is an advert from a magazine for it - it is cruely tantilising because it tells us one exists!

Thanks for your help all the same.

a search led to gracesguide.co.uk, but all they have is magazine adverts from the late 1800s: http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Stevens_and_Sons

another link which details the co. at the 1862 london exhibition: http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/1862_London_Exhibition:_Catalogue:_Class_V.:_Stevens_and_Son

sorry if these are too OT!
