I have cut the sides out of plasticard and I have some 9ft wagon chassis in stock. My question, what was the number series of the wagons before transfer to departmental use? I don't think the number would have changed upon transfer to the Engineers, simply acquiring prefix letter(s) according to whose fleet it had joined. Certainly, all the ex-traffic service wagons I remember seeing showed no sign of having been re-numbered.
