allan downes
Here's the fourth coastal hotel finished but I'll probably have to build a fith just in case six ain't enough ! I don't know what you think of the roof colouring, it's Colron Antique Pine spirit based dye which I had to use since I haven't a drop of English light Oak left and Colron appear to have phased it out completely. Anyway, I've now got my own site if you're intereste and here's the link. http://allandownes.wix.com/architectural-models Cheers. Allan.
Edwardian
Brilliant, and from one of the few men who could casually refer to having built a fourth coastal hotel! I can always imagine going into your buildings, and wanting to, because they possess the solid architectural feel of full size buildings. Adjacent hayrick is, however, very much out of scale. RJS1977
Spotted these O gauge buildings of Allan's on the club stand at the Egham show on Saturday - £20 each. Not being an O gauge modeller I didn't buy them but they did strike me as somewhat of a bargain!
