David Todd
Post 321, still think that building is worth a scratch build. Do you have room on the layout for anything more than a relief? The Bigbee Line
Dave, Here's one I've not scanned before. It's a general shot looking at Dover Town Yard from outside the Shunters :Lobby. A bit of a grey day, but it shows the track layout and a few wagons. Not sure if the CEP is re-furbished,

RJEB
There was a lot of perishable traffic conveyed for Transfesa on the Trainferry. A large proportion of this was tripped on a daily basis from Dover to Paddock Wood. As priority traffic it was on occasion run straight from the Ferry Yard. In this shot 73113 "County of West Sussex", in Intercity Livery, is at the head of a rake of Transfesa wooden vans loaded with onions ready to propel out of the yard, "Right Away" to Paddock Wood. One early turn when booked Supervisor, Dover Town and Ferry Yard, the carriage and wagon fitters were on strike and would not carry out the brake continuity test on some Transfesa Vans pulled off the boat as a freight ready to go. I carried out the test and within six minutes of the ferry berthing, the train was on its way . .
