Where are your model people buying the gas for all the cars on your layout?

Do you like to get a really fine model of an authentic US-prototype gasstation?

The german cardmodel-designer Godwin T. Petermann makes his design available to everybody - for free! Thanks to Godwin. It is easy to build. If you have no experience with cardmodeling, have a look at the CLEVER-Models site. The are many hints for the beginner.

Here is the download site (be aware of the other fine models there - mainly german prototype, but possibly adaptable to your US-Pike:

Have fun with this nice model

These small brick stations were common in the southern US until the 1960's. Most are gone but a few have been repurposed. There's an old former gas station like this in my town (Prattville, Alabama) that is used by a bail bondsman. Unfortunately, the brick was painted a hideous yellow-brown.

Hi all,

mind you, it's all H0=1:87 (bit smaller than 00 - perhaps good for your backgrounds). And all text is German, but the pictures speak for themselves.

An overview of all of Petermann's buildings is here; the relevant download site, however, is this one.

Hope this helps

Armin

Edit: And THANKS to Shortliner for posting !
