69843 Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 As a possible project, I have been looking around for details on the three roller bearing corridor tenders. At the moment, the details I have are: *Tender No. 5590-fitted with Timken bearings from 1938 to withdrawal *Tender No. 5647-fitted with Hoffman bearings from 1938 to withdrawal *Tender No. 5648-fitted with Skefco bearings from 1939 to 1958 I do have a list of the locomotives that towed them, and the dates, but more information on them and some shots of the tenders and the axleboxes (particuarly No. 5648) would be greatly appreciated.
