ryan1
Can i run more than one Lenz LS150 from the same transformer or does each one need it's own one? Rather expensive if it does. Ta in advance.

RMweb Gold RFS Posted January 13, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 13, 2010 Yes you can - I have 13 connected to one TR100 3 amp transformer. If you are using point motors which need high amperage, such as Peco PL10s which I use, then you need to make sure you don't try changing more than one point at a time on different LS150s. Otherwise the transformer's power is shared between the two LS150s, which may result in one not being able to throw the point. I use RR&Co with plenty of route setting commands. I've found that I needed to put in a half-second delay between each point change in order for the LS150 and/or the TR100 to recover.
