Better to split lots or sell in one go

I have a selection of n gauge rtc limited edition models . Would you recommend to split and sell one at a time or list all together as one lot.

If I were to split should I sell say, one week to get the best prices . Only selling to invest in OO gauge.

If as you suggest these are limited edition models then I suspect the extra income from separate listing would more than defray the additional listing costs involved

I'd agree with Phil. There was a thread recently that suggested you get about 30-40% more is you sell seperately. The RMWeb classified seems to get good results (I've not tried them, but judging by the number of items you see marked as sold). Either that or list on the well know auctions site - listings with clear pictures & decent descriptions, staring at 99p & finishing on a Sunday eve seem to command the best prices!

Agree with all Sam has to say - and yes definitely worth trying on here first, you are amongst friends for starters. Have had several very positive experiences on here and nothing negative at all. Nothing to lose!

 

If you list on Ebay beware those who are more interested in the box than the model - following recent experiences I will now be stating for anything I list on there I give no warranty on the box condition - its the model I wish to sell
