notice how you weren't at bootle jn at 05:30 saturday morning watching me getting stuck with 66305!!

i knew i was going to be in trouble when the loco started slipping BEFORE i got under the derby rd bridge

got it moving in the end, 55 mins to move 150 metres BUT not before i cleaned the tracks with a rag and hand sanded the rails by filling my hard hat with sand from the boxes and tipping it onto the rails

the joys of being a train driver

Slipping before Derby Road not good - thats one of the occasions when a Peco track cleaning rubber would actually come in handy !

Hi Dave

Its a shame you were not at Holywell on Wednesday afternoon as 175001/010 were in the down platform loop for a few hours due to a coupling fault.

Request stop Holywell anyone?

T-T

I've still not got anything in the loops, missed a 37 in the down one a couple of years back, I went to the footbridge towards Mostyn and could see it sitting in the loop but a double hippo would be heaven
