I purchased one of their signal box kits from Warley just to have a go, as at the price it seemed worth a go on a cold winters evening. Haven't had a good look at it yet, but it does seem rather a rather nicely produced product. Looking forward to see what else they will do

Did the same as Mr B and picked up a signal box as a little tinkering project and a possible addition to one of the planks I have on the go.

As I had a fettle with it tonight thought you might like to see a few pics of what you get and the ease of which it goes together. I'm very impressed with it all.

For building I used rocket card glue, straight edge and very sharp fresh scalpel blade. The pieces may look like wood, but its like a cross between balsa and card, so anythink less then a sharp blade will cause pulling and tearing of the fibers.

Anyway enough of me prattling on, here are some pictures!

As I had bit more time in the garage tonight I thought I would finish off the signal box and show you some pictures of the completed product as supplied. I shall do some paining and fitting out of the interior at a later date. I have left the roof loose to help with this, and add some glazing to the windows.

I have to say that the steps must have been the easiest I have ever had to assemble. The little locking tabs line up dead straight and hold the steps very firmly.

The walkway and railings went together with similar ease and I only had one modification to do which was to cut the end rail off one set of railings to allow a nicer fit of the steps.

This may have been due to my assembly of the kit as I only used the very basic instructions that come with the signal box. I would have used the very comprehensive online build instructions, but can't get my wifi in the garage!

All in all an amazing kit for the price, and I can't wait to see what else comes out on their website.

Cheers

Matt

You are more than welcome, was a very enjoyable build and looking forward to seeing how well it takes paint.

Will be interesting to see how the brickwork and the tiles take to a dry brushing and if the laser cut detail 'pops' out.

Cheers

Hi,

Following feedback from our customers we have now started making major changes to the windows and doors in our kits. As you can see on the picture attached, windows and doors are now separate to the panels. We believe this adds nice level of details to our models and also makes them easier to paint now.
