RMweb Gold Colin_McLeod Posted February 4, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 4, 2014 St Patrick's Street is the main shopping street in Cork. Here it is this evening at high tide.
EddieB
I thought Cork was supposed to float! Seriously though, that looks pretty serious, and presumably affects most of the "island". What about Kent station, as that's quite low-lying too, isn't it.
iak
Yikes! That must be one heck of a high tide to have flooded this. This weather is crazy!
Horsetan
That's actually not too bad. I'm sure I've seen higher in Cork...... Limerick was very bad the last few days, by all accounts. There's been a photo going round showing the water level about a third of the way up outside someone's patio doors, yet not a drop leaked into the house. I wanna know what sealants they're using!
