armleyroad
Welcome to my layout thread, I have decided to rebuild my S&C style layout, loosely based at Horton-In-Ribblesdale. Overview of the scenic area: Close up of a passing Gypsum: Thanks for looking, comments/suggestions welcome.

Jack374
Looking brilliant, Even though it is just 2 tracks, no points etc., the scenics are excellent... Is there more to it ( e.g. out of shot fiddle yard/ roundy roundy storage sidings), or is it a scenic plank? Loving the Gypsum... Thanks Jack. Andrew P
Very nice so far, more pics soon please, love the Modern image on there its a nice change as most S & C Layouts are Steam era (not that there is anything wrong with that) but its just nice to see a different take on an old theme. Great stuff. Andy
armleyroad
Cheers, more pics on the way for sure, scenery not finished yet, more grass etc... I will be building train handling areas out of sight.
RMweb Premium Physicsman Posted February 9, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 9, 2014 Good to see another S&C layout on here. We can't have too many! I agree with Andy - makes a change to have the S&C with diesels dominant - most of us have "kopped out" and gone for the transition era. If you haven't done so already, check out the "Settle & Carlisle Route" section in "Special Interests". I'll follow developments on here with interest. armleyroad
Lighting looks good was it hard to do? David Not difficult just time consuming. Only issue is that only lights up in one direction because they're diodes!
