Just came across your thread some great weathering there, not sure about that EFC graffiti though ;)

Keep up the great work looking forward to seeing more.

Those wagons are really looking good, and I like the job you have done on the trackside furniture, signal relay boxes, concrete cable troughs, orange pipes etc. I would suggest you now apply some of your skill with the rust paint to the sides of your rail, that will lift the whole layout up a notch.

Regards

Keith

There were some old Yeoman wagons in the yard at Didcot the other day that had been patch painted grey and new TOPS panels applied.

Once the silver paint had dryed,

i painted thin layer of 50/50 (rust effects) and (yellow rust effects) over the silver flakey roof paint.

I have been removing the roof "bars" from the odd Bachmann Mark 1. To see if they were Ok I overpainted the darkish grey roof with BR Light grey. This showed up the bits I had missed. I then started to sand down these bits to discover that a weathering pattern was emerging....

I think this , with a bit more of your  weathering could produce something similar to the Bachmann "weathered" roof.
