RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted March 13, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 13, 2014 www.noodlebooks.co.uk ISBN 978-1-909328-11-1 £14.95. (I bought mine from Kevin Robertson via Amazon for £10.32 with free p&p) An excellent and most evocative read, well worth the money. One or two captions are partially mixed up (e.g a description of a photo mentions some wagons which are actually in the next photo) but nothing which detracts from the lovely photos. IMHO a must for Southern infrastructure enthusiasts and signalling / infrastructure fans in general.
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted March 13, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 13, 2014 Thanks for this, Beast. Mr Wallis (Snr) has had his work featured in several of the Middleton Press books, and it is intriguing to see the Pre-Grouping kit still in its heyday. The top cover pic is Pulborough, the lower one shows AC and DC electrification, I think, but I'm not sure of location.

I believe it's Streatham Common, looking south, with the slow lines on the left.
