kandc_au
Hi all, Did any modelling/prototype mag ever produce plans and/or drawings of the above? If so, could someone point me in the right direction? If not does anyone know if they are availble anywhere else? Tried the search feature here but no luck (probably me) Khris

kandc_au
Hi John, But there is no actual mention of a plan or drawing of TT, which is what I am after to model it! Khris

Andy M
Khris, Have you tried the Swindon & Wiltshire Archives at Chippenham? They have a vast collection of the GWR GA Drawings from Swindon Works which I know includes the larger 75ft turntable. They have a web based search facility and are a pleasure to deal with. Regards, Andy.
kandc_au
Thanks for the responses. Seems I will have to fly blind with this, so more questions if I may. 1) I assume that the T/T beams go straight through and not spread out at the ends. 2) Can anyone advise the depth of the pit please? 3) Any idea of beam depth? I figure with this info i should be able to bodge one up. Khris edited to add question and complete a question
