Catkins
Slightly OT, but I noticed a 170 substituting the usual Sprinter at Sheringham a couple of times last week. Does anyone know the protocol for a 3-car serving a 2-car capacity platform, I'm assuming the doors on one carriage can be locked off? I know that the ones that used to be operated by central trains were fitted with selective door controls, I would presume that the entire class was fitted at build. Pete 75C
Thanks for that, I'm sure it must be the case. There's a "Sprinter Stop" board adjacent to the ramp, but although the 170 had nudged a bit further forward, the rear coach was still 70% out of the platform.
