SGJ Posted April 29, 2014 Share Posted April 29, 2014 I have just seen this picture of the "MAP exhibition train" I have never heard of it before, can any one enlighten me as to what purpose did it serve ? RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted April 29, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 29, 2014 I am afraid that this is a bit later than the exhibition trains I know about (see HMRS Journal, two articles), as it would be one run by BR itself after it took over the exhibition train business. But I can tell you that the coach was originally E25637 as stated, an SK built Wolverton to lot 30426 in 1957 or 1958, and converted in 1981 into exhibition use.
