MAP Exhibition Train

I have just seen this picture of the "MAP exhibition train" 

I have never heard of it before, can any one enlighten me as to what purpose did it serve ?

Was it a public exhibition or for rail staff

I am afraid that this is a bit later than the exhibition trains I know about (see HMRS Journal, two articles), as it would be one run by BR itself after it took over the exhibition train business. 

But I can tell you that the coach was originally E25637 as stated, an SK built Wolverton to lot 30426 in 1957 or 1958, and converted in 1981 into exhibition use. It had previously been used by Trainex/Exhibition on the Move.
