Hi Paul the locos are looking really nice, and that trackwork will look great when it's done.

Just one question, how tall are you ?  :O

Best regards

Craig.

Thanks for the kind words I can’t wait till it’s looking a bit more real then I can take some realistic looking pics.

Had a play with this one before an also the new controller arrived today in the form of the Sig-na Trak ace 2 :D

Interesting to see your Sig naTrak arrived today Paul, I've had mine on order with Poyton Model Shop since early December so I must give them a call tomorrow. I hope you enjoy it mate.

Thought you already had one Andrew?

I ordered mine direct from Sig-na Trak there was a slight delay though as they where waiting on packaging.

Hope yours arrives soon mate.

Had another play with pics before, then just been working on some cl13 weathering for a client.

Cheers

Well I liked mine, (otherwise I wouldn't be having another) using a mix of Hand Set, (fairly basic TBH) and the Main Deck I felt I had it all, wheel, slider, buttons and showing all 28 Functions as well. PLUS good Loco descriptions.

The full 28 functions sold it for me Andy and looks pretty good when I had a quick look last night, the handsets like you say seem pretty basic but if they do the job then it’s a winner ;)

Cheers

Hi Paul,

Looking good, I agree that you're going to have to have long legs top operate that layout.

On another note, the ends of your baseboard where the track is, have you thought about securing the rail with something, like maybe a brass pin fixed into the wood and up through the sleeper?

The track is prone to being caught, no matter how careful and good the intentions, and it will just wreck all your hard work.

Chris (Too Many Spams) on here has solved the baseboard end problems with one of the most unique and well hidden ideas I've seen. Have a look a bit back through his Pencarrow thread here:   http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/69736-pencarrow-pg255-wagons-walls-bufferstops-and-pain/

Just a thought ;)

No track building of late although I have built the three vee’s ready to fit so hopefully I’ll get a few hours next week as I’ve been working on two green cl20’s, apart from removing Maskol and adding the numbers the first ones finished. I’ve also been practicing faded paint on my own 08.

Cheers

Nice work Paul I've just taken delivery of a cl20 and am wondering about dirtying it up a tad your work gives me something to work with.  I think I was looking at them on the Weathering FB page.

Oh I am a King too Initials M.R. Barnaby is a long time forum name which I have stuck with,

Best

EDIT:   I see you live in Liverpool, I'm from Mossley Hill.

Now I'm saying this I think we have had a conversation about the Garston Line into the docks earlier in these posts.  It would explain why I have you tagged as one to watch, that and the Edge Lane Line your modelling.
