travelintrev
Trawling through some of my old photos I found one of the de-Winton Challenor. Now I don't really need another loco (my "fleet" of 1:24 locos must be getting close to double figures!) but couldn't really resist. Currently sat on two pairs of wheels as the chassis will have to wait until until I have a workshop in the future. It will be running on either 16.5mm (Gn15) or 18.2mm (Gn18!)gauge when I make my mind up. If any ones interested I could post some photos of this in it's component parts, as it breaks down into component parts for ease of painting and transport as these locos have to fit into my carry-on bag! Same goes if any ones interested I do have some photos of completed / nearly completed stuff. Now I really must build some rolling stock! Trev. switcher 1
Interesting loco; there doesn't seem to be many larger scale models on here, especially as GN15 uses 16.5mm gauge (00/H0 track) to represent 15" gauge railways.
ThePurplePrimer
Great looking loco I have just started mocking up a very short piece of track using some code143 and styrene I have just spotted your sleepers and you seem to have represented steel sleepers - are they Heywood style ? I would love to know more about the trackwork there
