Unfortunately Patterdale has dropped out due to a break in and damage to the layout and theft of some of the stock stored with it. Pathetic that they have to trash what they can't steal!

Apart from Wetherspoons and Prezzo, which are opposite each other on West Borough and Costa Wimborne is remarkably free of the usual chains and has some excellent eateries, I know I've tried most of them ;)

There's a good bakery in the square, If you just want a good sandwich then the Sandwich shop on Cook Row across the green directly opposite the Minster entrance is also good and the White Hart is a few yards further on for good pub food. For slightly more sophisticated eating there's the Olive Branch and two excellent small Italian restaurants just off the square, Topogiggio on a Mill Lane and Piccolomondo round past the minster and on the left before the library.

In fact anyone taking partners not really into models will find there's plenty to explore from the short bus ride if they wander off from the square and take in the various arcades and bits around King street too.

Yes Ian, it was looking good today, but just a little sparse at the 'balcony' end, but it was good to see my old friend Rex Kennedy. The host club's layout looks great (as well as your's Paul). A good variety of layouts to suit all popular interests.

Well back home and unloaded by 6.45pm and now had a take away dinner, time to chill out!

Tidworth behaved itself in the main all weekend and appeared to be well received on its first outing, a big thank you to all the 'crew' that turned out this weekend that made it possible. There are one or two issues and a couple tweaks to the route settings to carry out before the next show as well as a bit more fettling to do, but I think I'll have at least a week away from it first.

Also a big thank you to Graham for inviting me to exhibit at Wimborne and taking the risk when there was nothing to see!
