Another W&T kit has recently appeared on eBay, it was purchased, thanks to this thread and will subsequently appear as it is constructed.

Hah! Ditto! I had been looking for the W&T LMS 6-wheeler for some time, having built the GWR sausage carrier a while back. This nudged me to check eBay once more and, for a tenner, I bagged one. There were two for sale, extraordinarily.

 

I really enjoyed building the GWR version: wood, white-metal, card, plastic. screws and nails! Just like the old days!

And I still think it looks better than the Hornby one, especially if you add hinges and door locks to the vinyl sides. I have built several myself.
