Evening all,

You have all been really helpful over the years in identifying many images in my collection which are unidentified. I have just finished a new batch and am really hoping some might be obvious.

The first ones are from what appears to be the Cambrian coast area

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15313833143/  I think this is on the Ruabon - Barmouth line near Barmouth

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15746036258/ Is the Mach?

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15746037038/ The tresel bridge is probably a give away on this one

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15907577336/ a 78xxx arrives somewhere

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15746089980/ I think this might be the same station with 9008 arriving

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15933373835/ a train leaving - they are all on the same film

https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15292833673/ Now this one has been baffling many for a while. It looks like there was a hipped awning on the building and possibly its on a 4 track section.

Lastly is this in the north west https://www.flickr.com/photos/29644579@N07/15725182240/

Once again many thanks for your help or suggestions.

best wishes

Duncan

I'm pretty certain the hipped roof one is the disused Platform 1 of Maidenhead station.

Very definitely not Maidenhead.  There is no sign of the island platform for a start, the brickwork doesn't match, the cable troughing wasn't done like that at Maidenhead, and the woodwork looks to be in LMR colours not WR so i suspect it might be somewhere on the LM.

This has now been identified, and I agree as Garstang & Catterall. As is always the way there were some photos on here last year of it http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/67100-apollos-grand-days-out/ . There will be more coming along as I still have thousands of unidentified negatives to work through, just when time allows.
