Stevelewis
I am not sure if this is appropriate to your requirements but some items in the Minitrains H0e range may be adaptable, Several Retailers are listing these in their NG sections, ( Gaugemaster, Frizinghall, and I beleive there is a list of all UK stockists on the Minitrains website) There is no 4-6-0T or even an 0-6-0 in the range, ( but there is an 0-8-0) Also a suitable N Gauge loco chassis may be usable for a scratch build loco? RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted December 12, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 12, 2014 Only suggestion would be to join NGRM online and ask on there and the most common answer will be :- The 009 society second hand sales can help search for specific items if you're a member as you can put a request in with them and they notify when some come in but you'd need to join first. From your location I suspect Shepton Mallet in February is going to be a long shot as their secondhand sales stand attends with lots of stuff to peruse but no guarantee of specific railways stock. rue_d_etropal
Can't really help, but one reason I did not design my own 3D printed model of either the 4-6-0 or 2-6-2, in 1/35th scale was that I could not find a suitable OO or HO chassis, without major work. If I had, then I would have had a O scale and OO9 version out as well. What looks like easy locos to motorize is surprisingly difficult.
