Charlie B
Hi, I recently bought two CML DAC10 point controllers on eBay as part of a bigger auction. My intention was to use them on a small exhibition layout run with Digitrax and eventually with RR&Co. I've found the programming of these DAC10s mind numbing. I also own a couple of DCC Concepts AD-S8 point controllers which are straight forward and without complex CV programming. Sadly they do not integrate with the Digitrax Loconet. I cant find anyone here in Somerset who has even heard of the DAC10 let alone able to offer advice. Any help will be much appreciated. Nigelcliffe
Apart from reading the manuals, the CML Electronics also provide a software program, LocoAnalyse, to setup their hardware over LocoNet - Nigel

Charlie B
Hi Gordon, Yes I do have the instruction but I found that they are a nightmare to follow. Do you use DAC10s? Regards Charlie
Gordon A
Sorry Charlie, I am currently using servos using an ESU Switch Pilot in DCC mode. Gordon
RMweb Gold 96701 Posted December 28, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 28, 2014 It's worth persevering with the DAC10s. I've used them in the past with a Digitrax set up and found them to be very reliable with Tortoise motors. Once you've learnt how to set them up, they're a doddle. If I remember correctly, it is plug and play, and because I use Tortoise motors, there was no need to connect the 15V ac supply to it.
