mark alden
Can anyone help please? Does anyone know if Hornby actually produced a model Hymek in 1966 numbered D7000? Presumably it was the first model produced but changed to D7063 the following year. I've looked at a couple of Google sites but can't find a definitive answer or a list of the locos made. Presumably Hornby made the locos in Ramsgate at a factory? Thanks, Mark

Thanks, Mark According to Pat Hammonds Triang Hornby books the first Hymek was a year late and didn't arrive till 1967, it was green with the number D7063 and made for 1 year before changing to blue with the same number. The early green one I have is D7063.
