Highlandman
Most of the time when we open links to an external site from RMweb they open up in a new window or tab. But when we click on a link to another page in RMweb we jump to that page in the same tab we linked from. Is there any chance that this could be changed so that when we click on an internal link it automatically opens up in a new tab or page so that the original remains open. We can then refer to both pages without having to resort to the back button all the time. Many thanks in anticipation. Andy M

RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted March 7, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 7, 2015 On any web page (not only RMweb): Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard while clicking a link to force it to open in a new tab. Hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard while clicking a link to force it to open in a new browser window.

Norm81
But how do you do it on a tablet? On my iPad, you press and hold until a menu pops up to open in new tab. Can't comment on other tablet devices.

RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted March 7, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 7, 2015 But how do you do it on a tablet? Drag the link to the tab bar. (That works on a desktop computer also). If you drop it on an existing tab it opens in that tab. If you drop it on an empty part of the tab bar in opens in a new tab.
