david.hill64
Freshly cleaned and coaled at bangkok Thoinburi depot after bringing in the 10:05 Edinburgh Waverley to Bangkok Hua Lamphong service, Malcolm Graeme relaxes in the morning Bangkok warmth before taking the return service (via Telford). Normally Thonburi is home to a couple of 2-6-0's, a pair of pacifics and a mikado that run a few times every year. Here are the pacifics oiled up ready before taking the Queen's Birthday train from Bangok to Ayutthaya. Now on with a DJH V1!

david.hill64
Very Japanese, those engines.... Built by Nippon Sharyo, so hardly surprising! These two were re-boilered last year so should be good for a few years yet. I have yet to see them working and must make the effort. I think they will be out again in October.
