GoGoffa
Where can I purchase 2 and 4 pin connectors with fine insulated leads for hard wiring tenders and locos similar to the items now being fitted to the latest Hornby locos?. I would like to retrofit my earlier engines to remidy problems that occur with the older leaf style connections on my dcc layout.

GoGoffa
Hi. Thanks for your responses. I checked out the suggested suppliers and I have ordered some connectoer from All Components. Hopefully they will do the job. I presume due to Christmas and the rough weather in the UK they will take a while to get to Australia. If they are not optimum I will try other recommendations. Cheers Goffa
Crantock
Maplins have these. The trick is to look under Components - semiconductors rather than connectors. DC17T 32 Plug Socket £1.21 DC 17U 32 pin Plug £ 1.89 The spacing on these also matches 8pin DCC plugs and Maplins do "Veroboard" PCB strips with drilled holes to match. Bad description but useful.
