Today was the first day of the 5th US-Modellbahn-Convention in Nieder-Roden, Hessen.

Again a wealth of wonderful layouts (and workshops plus venues to empty the wallets).

Pictures will follow…

Enjoy!

Is the Nickel Mine Italien? I saw something very similar at Eurospoor some years ago.

Perhaps interested in coming to Wakefield for 2016/2017.

Translated from a post on a French site

It is not the Alexander modules but those of Dirck Warwel be Sabillasville Curve, Whitehall and Yakima Fruit Yard Row Curve

You can find more info on the network presented on the website and details about the modules in http://www.fremo-net.eu/modulsysteme/baugroesse-n/american/american-module/

Alexander modules in http://www.frankenmodell.de/emeryville.html

Sorry it's in German but the photos or videos speak for themselves

There are more postings of photos on this French site mainly pages 2 and 3 http://teamtrack.soforums.com/t1344-Expo-RODGAU-2015.htm

Google will translate if you want to

  • 3 weeks later...

Dear all,

we are a couple from Italy, and every now and then, we exhibit our contraption at some show. In October, we took part to the US Convention Rodgau 2015. Double thumbs-up for the organizers of Rodgau. The accommodation and meals provided to the exhibitors have been top-notch. Even more important, the floor of the halls was perfectly even and flat and our layout did not need any alignment. The exhibition halls were well heated and lit (including during installation of the stands, and in the evening of Sunday, during dismantling).

We met several other model railroaders, whom we met before at other US-specific events, and hundreds of qualified visitors. It was an exhausting, but pleasant experience.

Herewith some links to our photos of Rodgau:

We would be glad to get in touch with other model railroaders interested in mining layouts.

All the best from Milan
