Meg and I hope to be there with 'Brucklay'. Just to clarify the layout list - the name is Scottish but the green diesels are western region.

Sorted!

See you in September.

Cheers,

Mick

Preparations continue!

At the club last night we sorted all the road signs into the five main routes.

Thats a total of seventy-odd signs. They go up on Sunday 1st September, or shortly afterwards.

No excuse for not finding the venue once you've found Accrington!

Steve.

Bump!

A week from now it'll be all over........

I have a top team to operate New Bryford, so I'm on demonstration duties. Don't worry, I'll have enough yellow stuff to put on NB as well as my display!

Cheers,

Mick

Could be worse, you could on the A380.................

Talking of yellow. Look out for our direction signs to the show. There should be about 70 of them spread around to guide you in.

Hi all,

Looking forward to taking Bishop's Bridge out again, it's been a while!

Just to let everyone know in case anyone is interested; Bishop's Bridge has only 4 more shows left, including this one, before I offer it up for sale. If anyone is interested in the layout, please come and speak to me at the show.

There are some pictures here;

I've never sold a layout before so you'll have to bare with me, I'm not sure of the best way to do it really!

Cheers,
Benn.

Most of the stuff at the clubrooms has been shifted down to the loading bay in readiness for Steve and the van tomorrow morning.

I've been sorting out the stock for New Bryford and my demo stand over the weekend.

All I need to do now is make sure that I'm ready about 9.30 Friday morning for the barriers to be collected from their storage at wifey's workplace. (bacon butty and brew already ordered!)

Come and say hello at the show, I'll probably be on my demo stand, mostly full of yellow stuff, or covering lunch-breaks on NB.

Cheers.

Mick

That's it for another year. All our club stuff is safely back at the clubrooms and upstairs (saves us having to do it tomorrow/Tuesday)

I hope the visitors and exhibitors enjoyed themselves and got home safe.

From where I was sat, it looked quite busy for most of both days and our club treasurer looked happy.

Doing a demo stand doesn't give you much chance to have a proper look round, so if anyone has any pics from the show, please post them on this thread.

Cheers,

Mick
