Is there more than one? Lots of class 66s, a few 08s and a class 67. Also saw the T9 at Didcot. (What is a Southern loco doing there?) Lovely machine. There was also lots of graffiti but only had my phone so would have missed it. Mick aaaawwww .....no fun........just imagine me running around laugh like a loon with your loco in my clutches and u in hot pursuit, and Kal wetting himself laughing....... seriously......Kal watches me like a hawk when handling his beloved locos......he believes I am far too casual about their handling......I would be too scared to touch them in case I messed it up........ you could just imagine me holding the 'top' and the bogie and decoder etc splatted on the floor.... Locate lost dog's/cat's, check for disease, atop of your tree's, or..............even order "Take Aways". Well we already have the radio controlled 1:72 Tank....we plan to have some of our cars running around (another good reason for swopping to PIR)..... .... .so I think a helicopter has merit......I might need some flying lessons first......If I crash into a loco, or worse a train......Kal might end up radio controlling me!!!!!!!!!! Dave most of the rest of the wall is allocated, and getting these (ess1uk and hornbyandbf3fan) as a strip would not allow them to leave much space.....so I have snagged the slope on the far left...I will add pictures later to show where they are. Then I have the hard one to do. You (and many others) have not be on here long enough to know that Kal often refers to 3 of our friends as characters from Dads Army. (and to be fair the joke originated on our old forum, and Richard has an account here but has not posted since we came here) So, anyway, to perpetuate the joke..... I need to make those 3 characters recognisable...but add characitures of the 3 people. And on this PIR........it might be beyond my capabilities to fit it in.....in which case dt (david todd) will end up us Rush (he really looks like the footballer) in a football shirt....he let slip that Dover people are often named after the local football team Dover Sharks....which apparently has a long tradition regards the 'ferries' between Dover and Calais and those vessels stopping outside the harbour waiting for the tide to chance thereby forcing the passengers to have to use a second smaller vessel to get into port...but being forced to pay a second fee.....hence the locals being known as 'sharks'........ 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
