      My estate (bought because it was cheap!) got the ball rolling. I "fixed" the handling with a set of slotmags (mmm, 70's) and it's been a brilliant workhorse and refuses to die. It's being treated to a full restoration this year.

      '74 Marina estate. Somewhat dog eared- and didn't start first time! Was running fine last night, no such luck this morning. Jumped OK off the Swedebarge though ('88 Volvo 240, my "sensible" car). What have you got SHMD?

    Watched "Racing Legends - Colin McRae" this evening. Very sad to see poor old XM603 apparently rotting away - when I did work experience at Woodford 20 years ago a group of guys had got her into a smart condition and were able to taxi her :-(

    Heavy snow here. Just back from work. Made valiant attempt to get Land Rover stuck in deep snow on byways on way home. Failed. Land Rover kept going.
