I used double-sided tape. Downside with that was when I removed it from the paper it had some flex in it, but I was then fitting it back onto the master templot already on the board so it wasn't a problem.

I would recommend sticking the base down to the template with PVA and let it set. Then you can trim it with a blade around the base. It should hold its shape then.

Wayne, is there any possibility of sharper industrial radii points in the future? With the Peckett’s, Barclay’s and Ruston’s available and Peco not seemingly likely to replicate their tightest 438mm setrack with a finer rail and sleepers would an equivalent be a viable project?

I will be releasing an A5 turnout which is propably about the tightess radii you want to go to, to be honest.

    Hi.
Sorry to drag the topic away from posh alcoholic drinks and back to finescale trackwork.
just tried to order a couple of OO point kits and got a message saying out of stock due to waiting for a delivery of bullhead rail. Any rough idea of when the kits will be available to order again?
    kind regards.
    Bill.

    Hi Bill,

They'll be back in stock mid next week :)

Now i know who you are!

I spent much time experiementing with colour pigments to add to the resin to get what I would call "Quaffable Colour".

Man if I spent as much time in CAD as making silly QC references, I might actually get something done :D

    Time for bed....

Thanks Wayne. So they are branded Finetrax and available to non-members of the societies to order from those shops?

Unlike the EMGS B-6 which is not Peco-branded and available only to EMGS members.

    Hi Martin,

They are branded Finetrax, only members can purchase from the respective society shops. They will be available to non members once listed on my website. Members get a slight discount for buying them  from the society shop.

There maybe the opportunity for non members to purchase at shows, but you would need to check with the societies on that.

I agree. I really do like the look of real wooden timbers, especially the way the paint and weathering soaks into them creating a nice realistic matt look.

I did a few of these in 2mm Finescale years ago, and they looked great. I think it was walnut sheets, if I remember.

Maximum respect to those that use this method!

I like the idea of a 3 way turnout with interlaced sleepers!

Also, Don't waste any more time with the mouth breather who keeps harassing you.

His threat below, suggesting that he will further escalate this by posting something, can only end badly for him.

Really looking forward to the release of the EM diamond crossing!

    Thanks, Jack!

I'll look into the 3 way after previously said kits. I've already made one in N Gauge :)
