  1. Are they sticks of stale cheese that they're holding?🤣🤣🤣
  2. My points were based on comments by various well-informed people on the Fifty Fund's Facebook page. Compare the model to this photo: https://www.flickr.com/photos/httpwwwpeakdaleworkscom/5714068311/
  3. There are so many errors on 50044:- Black window surrounds incorrect (should be white) TOPS Data panel missing Numbers are too small (should be same size as lowercase lettering in Network) Crest is missing Orange cantrail stripe too low White gutter stripe missing 2 warning flashes between radiators (should be 1) Blue is too light See: flic.kr/p/9GW6ra An absolute joke for £224
  4. Off-topic, but does anyone know why there are no Spalding-Peterborough trains this Saturday (8th)?
  5. Had a fantastic day out at Wakefield last Saturday. Mind-blowing would be the best way to describe the layout. Spent about 4 hours there and could have spent a lot longer. My photos of the day are here https://flic.kr/s/aHsmXg7qpF
  6. Looking forward to visiting on Saturday. I'm guessing face coverings are mandatory?

  8. Thanks for this. Any photo is a bonus. From checking other photos, I think I 'might' have the only sign made for the NSE station. I'm now looking for track plans as I'm thinking of modelling the station
  9. Chatting to a friend yesterday who works for Network Rail. Told me it is his understanding that when the dive-under opens, passenger services on the Spalding line will reroute to platform 6 at Peterborough. Will be interesting, what with increased passenger services from May on Joint Line
  10. It's in January's Rail Express. They'd certainly have a great power to weight ratio
  11. Line is completely built on at both ends. Housing in Spalding, and a prison in March. Plus I believe costs of approx £25m per mile would make it very expensive. It's nearly 20 miles, so c.£500m
  12. GWR have announced that as a short-term replacement for the 143s, they will be using 3+2 HST sets
  13. And get a cam at the real location as well. It will confuse the heck out of some people
  14. Is the dive-under being made catenary-ready? That is, will any future installation of OLE be a relatively straightforward job. I haven't seen anything about this anywhere
