  1. An excellent show yesterday with some great comments from the public. Many thanks to the Tonbridge Club for their hospitality and overall organisation. Chris
  2. Car all packed and setting off after lunch. See you later. Chris
  3. Looking forward to coming to the Tonbridge show this time with CAMLAS, it's second foray into Kent in a month. Hope the weather is much better than my last visit in 2014 with screaming gales and driving rain. Chris Photo courtesy Railway Modeller
  4. Car almost packed with Camlas. See you later for setting up. Chris
  5. Looking forward to coming to Longfield again, this time with Camlas. It looks a good line-up of layouts and traders - well done Paul. Chris
  6. Rotarail is just over 4 months away Mike so crack on although I know you have a personal life too! I'm banking on you. Chris
  7. Give my regards to Dave - it was a pleasure operating with him at Fareham - at least he wasn't grumpy! I can loan you some GWR panniers plus wagons for Worthing - you only have to ask!!!! Stop being so self-critical and get Oak Road finished for Rotarail. Chris
  8. Are you confusing FAREHAM with FARNHAM? The latter one is the following weekend. Chris
  9. Been promised a drive on Oak Road so looking forward to that, plus catching up with Croydon North Street and Loftus Road. Chris
  10. I think that you are being over critical of yourself Mike. It's looking great and looking forward to seeing Oak Road "in the "flesh". It'll be brilliant by the time of Rotarail on 28 April 2018 (www.rotarail.webs.com) Chris

  12. Without appearing pedantic, my layout was confirmed in January!
  13. The David Smith Books that I know is on 01425483200 and is from Ringwood. Regrettably, "most of the layouts" is not all and doesn't answer my question.
  14. Good to see the new website up and running. Shame that all the layouts appearing at this year's exhibition are still not listed though. I have been assured that CAMLAS is expected but it is not shown on the website or UK Model Shops.
  15. Looking forward to seeing all the changes at Rotarail on Saturday 22. Chris
  16. As exhibition manager for Rotarail, i am looking forward to seeing Loftus Road at our show. It's been a favourite for some time. Hope you all will come, there are some other fine layouts on show.
  17. There must be an end to this saga somewhere!!

  22. This is a NEW event for Fareham, organised by two railway modellers (and Webbers) who are also Rotarians to raise funds for local charities especially the Stubbington Study Centre. The event will be held at Fareham College and there will be 21 layouts of an international flavour with trade support. Full details can be found on http://rotarail2013.webs.com
