    if you throw ballast chippings at the tracks it sorta gives an even looking levelness... just duck when the wife sees the mess.. or do it some place else =]

    db are taking over... they have recently took control of arriva trains, second arriva trains is also cross country, next year they will probably bid for the wcml and want to run trains on hs2 also they own ews.

      and them, they really are taking over... this could mean if they do we may get different liverys all over the place! atw at leicester and london over ground in scotland, would give some pleasing results :D it wouldnt work like that though.. sadly

    1 lesson leant, never file holes to sizes before getting the etch, i did then found out that the etch is slightly smaller than the filed area, luckily this is a model so moddelers licence is allowed, filla here filla there..

      My colleague has one of these to put togther in his office cupboard - first machines he worked on during his apprenticeship. He's not into models in any way at all.. but he couldn't resist it... gave forwarded the link tot him for inspiration and a nag to "get on with it". Thanks LH
