    a bunch of ebbay sellers say on their accounts that there items will be delivered in 8-10 days, 2 are from nottingham and one from norwich is it really going to take 8 days to get from birmingham to leicestershire!

    am i the only guy who actually wants to do all the ballasting in one go but cant because of the method i am using cant be donw when my points are tacked and droppered down :(

      I prefer to get the ballasting done in one session. It's much easier with a small layout though!

      how about 9 x 1 with 8 points all in 3 ft of space! i can do two boards then will have to lift the points by disconnecting the droppers and un taking them :( will be good when done though :)

      i have been here for a while asking about stuff and commenting layouts :) i was going to build the layout as a tester that could fit into the loft layout. i will i will gather a few pics then start one up :)

    well thats all the - droppers wired now for the positives and break wires, signals, lights, points, and every other thing that looks good if you light lt up!

    when you bring part of the "little" removeable layout out of the loft you dont realise how big it is! its only 12ft long!

      You have just got to use the right flux. Bakers fluid works for me on most metals.

      I once had a bug submerge in a tin of paint. Oddly, I never did find it even when the tin was empty oO .

    tipical,,, i go out at quater past 6 to catch the stobart express at nuneaton, i get there and wait whilst its being late then they stick 92022 on the front instead of 92017!
