The (hopefully) last input has been given to the CAD designer for some slight tweaks. This is what the finished product should look like but with a choice of liveries. -

Well guys it's almost here. We're within one revision of the final prototype of the Yorkshire Engine Co 0-6-0. This has come straight off the printer. There is a buffer missing which is a one off print modification. Also we know the wheelbase looks short but that is the compromise with the electrotren chassis. Really pleased with how well it looks. Hopefully available for purchase in the next few weeks. Please let us know your thoughts.

Thanks Moxy. The feedback is Much appreciated. Richard

Hi everyone. We here at Chesterfield model making and miniature electronics hope you are safe and well. Some months ago we announced plans to produce a 3D printed resin industrial loco body based on the Yorkshire Engince co 0-6-0 that would fit straight onto the electrotren 0-6-0, outside cylinder chassis. Well we can show the latest pictures from our development and design.. We know there some things which aren't quite correct and need a bit of tweaking but we are also aiming this to be a budget entry model for those wanting to personalise their own locos so arent going for 100% fidelity. We would love any feedback, good or bad, comments or suggestions. Please let us know what you think. Sam and Richard

Some recent progress on our Sodor project. This is Knapford shed as seen on the TV series. Project is coming along nicely.

Hi all. Some friends and I are building an exhibition standard layout based on the early TV series of Thomas the tank engine. This will be a fully interactive layout with working cranes, coal hoppers, water wheels, windmills, smoke effects and more with lots of buttons to press and switches to pull. We've made start on ducks branch line and the loco sheds before we embark on the dockyards as the next branch line. Please feel free to find us on Facebook as Sodor appreciation society or our website https://sas-railway.org/ Please feel free to leave any suggestions or comments. Thanks Richard

Hi Gary. Absolutely superb model crane there. I have been doing my own version but have had a bit of a hiatus of late. I got some scale length jibs laser cut if you're interested. I could do with picking your brains on how you did some of the detailing on yours. Will pm you pal. cheers rich
