Early cad drawings of replacement water filler

Some good news for a change I spoke with my 3D printer last night in fact it was quite a long conversation about the fell as I’m about to move house which I’ve been trying to do since March so I can’t do anything at the moment about a putting right kit he has asked me to send one of my fells to him and he will design the missing water filler and turbo exhaust I also mentioned the doors /grills that were missing he is willing to look at both of them so I now it’s frustrating but if any one who wants a kit can be patient I’ll try my best to get one sorted also has any one got any drawings of both incarnations of the fell so he can see what needs sorting thank you

thank you for your reply out of interest lets have a pole who would be preparired to pay for a putting right kit for thre model if one becomes available this ispurely to judge the out come not cause any problems .

As im not a 3d printing expert or etching expert. I am guessing the waterfiller can be reprduced and the missing turbo exhaust in 3d and the missing grills could be reproduced in etches to match the ones on the model this could sort out the major parts thus giving you a reasonable model.

be great if some one out there can do a putting right kit for it would sell like hot cakes ok you probaly would have to respray the loco but then again there are some who dont like the gloss finnish anyway go on someone be brave enough you have two kits sold already thank you

Hello i spoke to michael revell who is the uk side of kr models last night as i had also recieved emails about the fell loco the state of play is that all the fell locos are on there way to the uk and are expected to arrive this month and michael is hoping to start shipping them out at the end of the month you may also get emails about previous old orders that had already been prosesed this is due to a up grade of there order system so dont worry there on there way hope this helps

Having been a railway modeller for many years has any one noticed how the hobby has changed from being a hobby to a luxury. having given up on uk main line railway s some time ago and building a layout based on the Isle of Wight I’ve not had to fork out on locos that one minute there brand new and all singing and dancing then a few years later there replaced by the same locomotive that s retooled. then trying to sell the first locomotive that was expensive at the time and getting virtually nothing for it and having to pay well over £100 to replace it with yet another retooled locomotive. only to find out a few years later the same loco has been brought out by another manufacturer that is even better and so the whole process starts again lt all seems to be a bit of a con. let’s make a locomotive that looks right but in a few years time we will replace it with one that’s spot on in order to get as much money as possible. not only that other manufacturers are doing the same locos instead of covering locomotives that have not been made yet the class 74 for one ok one livery but still popular. I’m glad I dropped main land railways when I did the island line has not cost me anything for years and I’ve saved a fortune as I see it this situation will go on and on prices will go up and up.
