Believe me, you won't feel the second. I remember the days when homemade elderflower wine claimed a lot of victims, mainly in suburbia.

If Physics is available - and you're happy with it - it's probably the one to go for, but it sounds like you're thinking in those terms already.

It's likely to be tough - but it's also likely to be worth it.

      All the best.

To be honest with myself. I suppose I'm leaning towards physics. I blame open university on BBC 2. I used to love watching them when 4 5-6. It even made me put down my lego. Though history on the industrial revolution and early railways, with the promise of the NRM Leicester plains is very tempting

History is a great subject at university, and a degree in it can lead to many interesting places, do the subject you love.

Well done and keep going. I gave up 16 years ago after 25 years smoking and several attempts to give up. This time used the ciggie money each month to buy locos, kits and power tools. So could see a reward each month

The vicious rumour about students spending their lives in the pub is just that - a vicious rumour.

That is, unless they're working there 25 hours every day - how else can they afford the fees?

Anyway, best of luck with your studies and your future career.

my first big boys bike was a CBF600S, similar motor to the CBR but with a heavier steel frame, great in traffic but dull on the open road. I always fancied the 900cc Hornet with the twin exhausts but instead moved on to the VFR750 which was a great all rounder

    4. mike morley

      mike morley

The VFR engine is possible the most stupendous power unit ever put in a motorcycle. Ubfortunately, the one I had was an early model with a single-headlight that was so bad the bike was unrideable at night.
